Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar Speak Ahead W/Cup Draw
World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo says he is relaxed ahead of Friday’s 2018 World Cup draw in Russia.
The Portuguese star told Fifa.com that his side are ready to take on any side at the soccer showpiece.
“I’m relaxed because, although some teams are stronger than others, all the groups will be balanced. I’m calm because I know that, when the time comes, the team will be ready,” the Real Madrid star said.
“Whoever we’re drawn against, we have to win, no matter what.”
For Lionel Messi, he will watch the draw if there was no game or match. The Argentina captain says he is already imagining the team’s opponents.
“I’ll be following it, so long as we don’t have training or a match,” Messi said.
And on his part, Brazilian Neymar said he was ready for any country.
“I believe that we’re ready to take on anyone,” he said.
“We’re going to put some popcorn in the microwave, and call family and friends. Everyone will have a keen eye on the television.”
