Alleged Corruption Trial Not Obstacle To Lead PDP – Daniel

Former Governor of Ogun state Gbenga Daniel says his trial for alleged corruption case is not a threat to his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national Chairmanship aspiration.

The former governor is among members of the party who are currently being tried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged corruption.

Daniel spoke with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday shortly after obtaining his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the party’s national secretariat.

Other aspirants are former Minister of Education Tunde Adeniran, ‎former Minister of Sports and Special Duties Taoheed Adedoja, former Deputy National Chairman of the party Bode George, former Oyo state governor Rasheed Ladoja, former PDP Lagos governorship aspirant Jimi Agbaje, and DAAR Communications founder Raymond Dokpesi.
